FOUTA Definition - The fouta is a piece of thin patterned cotton or linen fabric used in many Mediterranean countries, original Tunisia. Among other uses, they were worn, by both men and women, wrapped around the body while at the public baths in 19th-century Syria.
Like all these foutas it suits just as well at the beach, on a picnic or on the sofa as well as in the bathroom. You choose how you want to use yours.
