For the past 4 years Payne has been exploring Park Hill in Sheffield, the Grade II listed Brutalist council estate which is currently undergoing regeneration. She wanted to create observational paintings that spoke of the displacement of the established communities and the transience of the urban landscape.
For these paintings she largely painted on concrete using aerosol spray paints to reference the estate itself. The images shown here are limited edition giclee prints of these paintings
All prints have a three week run time.
